AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD’S ORDINANCE ADOPTING TITLES FOR EMPLOYEES AND FIXING SALARY RANGES

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the Township of Bloomfield, County of Essex, State of New Jersey:

Section 1. Section 2 of an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING TITLES FOR EMPLOYEES, FIXING SALARY RANGES THEREFOR, FIXING THEIR DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS AND FIXING SALARIES” as amended and supplemented, is hereby further amended and supplemented so that the same shall read as follows:

Salary Per Annum Effective August 22, 2015

Salary Per Annum Effective January 1, 2017

Salary Per Annum Effective January 1, 2018

Section 2. Those employees whose salaries are fixed and determined by this ordinance, terminating their services with the Township, shall be paid one-twelfth (1/12) of their annual salary for each complete month employed by the Township. Such employees working a part of a month shall be paid for the actual days worked in the final month of employment to be calculated at the rate of one-tenth (1/10) of the bi-weekly salary multiplied by the actual number of days worked in the final month of employment.

Section 3. All ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect according to law.
