Meeting History

Jul 20, 2015 7:00 PM  Township Council Conference Meeting

Councilman Pomares asked the Council for its support in possibly introducing live fish into Clark's Pond. He stated that at one time the Pond did have live fish but that the program was stopped a number of years ago. He suggested that he, along with Councilman Joanow, Township Engineer Paul Lasek and Director of Recreation Michael Sceurman meet to discuss how best to inform the public of the potential of again having live fish in Clark's Pond. Mayor Venezia stated that the Township should contact Assemblyman Ralph Caputo, Assemblywoman Cleopatra Tucker and also Senator Rice to garner their support for the issue and to ask them to contact the Fish & Wildlife Commission for assistance. The recommendation was moved by Councilman Pomares, seconded by Councilman Joanow, and agreed to by all of the Councilmembers.
