CELEBRATING BOYS SCOUT WEEK

FEBRUARY 3 - 9, 2013

WHEREAS, the week of February 3rd through February 9th, 2013, has been designated as National Boy Scout Week by the President of the United States; and

WHEREAS, the Boys Scouts of American have been at the forefront of instilling timeless values in youth since its founding in 1910; and

WHEREAS the Boy Scouts of America is committed in helping millions of youth succeed by providing leadership , good citizenship characteristics which support, friendship, and mentoring necessary to live a happy and fulfilling life; and

              NOW, THEREFORE, I, RAYMOND J. McCARTHY, as Mayor of the Township, along with Town Council and the community are proud to proclaim the week of February 3rd through February 9, 2013 as Boy Scout Week. We gather here all to express our appreciation to the community organizations and their volunteer scout leaders for bringing this values-based program to the youth of our community.
