BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Township of Bloomfield, County of Essex, State of New Jersey:

Section 1. Section 2 of an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING TITLES FOR EMPLOYEES, FIXING SALARY RANGES THEREFORE, FIXING THEIR DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS AND FIXING SALARIES” as amended and supplemented, is hereby further amended and supplemented so that the same shall read as follows:

POSITION TITLE		Salary Range Per Annum Effective JANUARY 1, 2013
MUNICIPAL COURT
Chief Municipal Judge of the Municipal Court (PT)		65,000

Section 2. . All ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect according to law.

Mr. Aloia said he had received a call from Judge Pirone. Mr. Aloia said that both Judges have conflicts on Thursday so there would have to be a session on Wednesday. He is recommending giving the extra session on Thursday to Judge Paparazzo for $20,000.00 extra and Judge Pirone will do the Wednesday cases.

Mr. Ehrenburg said the revenues from the court are not tremendous.

Mr. Aloia explained that the Court also has an issue with no Court Administrator.

Councilwoman Dunigan moved the request of the raise for the Judges, which motion was seconded by Councilman Venezia for discussion.
